Antique Grassin Arras Garden Bench

Arras benches, a style of French garden furniture, originated in the town of Arras around 1840. The Grassin-Baledans factory, one of three metalworking factories in the town, began specialising in garden furniture, creating unique, high-end pieces for the wealthy and public spaces. These benches are known for their distinctive curved iron slats, which provide both comfort and water drainage, and often feature claw or hoof feet.

This bench remains in good condition, retaining the original paint, giving this bench tones of character & charm.
