1940’s Art Deco Aluminium Wardrobe Made by Hawker (SOLD)

This superb and very rare to find Vintage aluminium Wardrobe is made by Hawkers Aircraft, made from aircraft aluminium, it is a large piece but light due to the aircraft grade aluminium used in the manufacture.

This piece is in fantastic condition for its age and retains its polished finish, it has the original Bakelite handle and the internal paint is original and unstripped, the inside comprises of a large shelf and a hanging rail to the top. 

Very Art Deco in style with its curved edges and detailing, a stunning piece of craftsmanship.

Hawker aircraft ltd were a large manufacturer of aircraft through the 1920’s 30’s and 40’s and during this period they also produced a range of bedroom furniture which was often used on RAF bases across Europe. (Price dose not include P&P)
