An attractive well turned circular Dutch lignum vitae tobacco jar, having a fitted lid with a separate pointed finial, the hand carving is of extremely high quality, with brass banding to the base, this jar has the most pleasing colour, grain and patination. C1830

This superb Jar is in excellent condition, would make a great piece for any collector.
