A Superbly hand carved wooden wall mounted lion’s head, in the style of Black Forest. Impressive in proportions and sits proud of the wall, hand carved from pine, with beautiful detailing to the mane, eyes and nose in deep relief, with an open mouth baring teeth. The back has been hollowed and has a hanging fitting. This impressive piece is in lovely original condition and has a beautiful patina that show cases this stunning Lions Head. C1880
