A superb pair of large leather elephant sculptures. These striding elephants date to the early 20th century and are superbly modelled and have realistic detailing, made from a quality black leather hide and are horsehair filled, they both have a desirable patina, robust and pleasingly sturdy, walking with their trunks raised, and still retain the original faux tusks, they both remain in good original condition. C1920

These are a pair of appealing antique leather elephant sculptures, very solid and stabile, they have been waxed to showcase the leather, they are ready for a new home or would make a lovely shop display piece. (Smaller elephant H: 68cm W: 54cm D: 26cm)
