Antique Rowing Boat Cruet Centre Piece

A lovely Victorian mahogany rowing boat cruet centre piece. Made from Mahogany with Brass Oars for a stand, with a hand made brass anchor & rope design. C1900

This mahogany and brass rowing boat condiment centre piece is an exquisite, nautical-themed table accessory. Usually taking the form of a detailed miniature rowboat, it features a rich mahogany hull, brass fittings (like rope-work, Oars, or anchor), would have originally held crystal or glass salt, pepper & mustard pots. (Unfortunately missing) 

These highly collectible pieces echo the aesthetic of the “Victorian Novelty Cruet”. Because they function as functional conversation starters rather than everyday dish ware.

This lovely little boat has been handmade, could possibly be used for a table centre piece or alternatively used for cufflinks, jewellery and other trinkets, this boat is in a lovely condition, would make a lovely display piece.
