A Superb George III Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase. This piece has a pair of gothic glazed panelled cupboard doors with three adjustable mahogany-edged shelves, the base has a drop down false drawer front which reveals 3 pull out drawers and 5 pigeon holes, this piece also retains the original red leather lined writing surface, below is further storage/cupboard space. C1820

This piece is of good proportions and was painted later, still a very practical cupboard, a very nice piece of early furniture and in fantastic condition.
