Victorian Coromandel Writing Slope. Made from English Coromandel wood with brass banding, corners and lock plate. C1890

This beautiful writing slope has a brass plate to the top, with brass decorative edging. Lift the leathered slope to reveal two storage areas and also a secret drawer to the side of the slope with a spring loaded panel which is accessed via the nib tray, there is a stationary rack to the front as well as pencil and nib trays.

The slope is in a lovely antique condition, a fine piece of antique workmanship.
