Victorian Oiled Canvas Steamer Trunk (SOLD)

This Superb Victorian Steamer Trunk has a wooden carcass, and is covered with black canvas oil cloth, it has Oak banding over the top, front and back with brass fittings and stud work, with stunning leather edging, the trunk has leather carrying handles, all of the brass work and beautiful locks have been polished to showcase the original craftsmanship. The brass name plate has the initials L.C. All the fitting are original to this piece. C1890
