Victorian Teak Luggage Stand

A Superb Victorian luggage stand. Made from Teak, with slatted rungs all raised on hand turned legs and central stretcher. C1900 

Victorian luggage racks were crafted from wood (often beech or mahogany), featuring turned legs, stretchers, and durable, sometimes upholstered, webbing to support heavy, leather-bound trunks. They were designed to provide a designated space for guests to store their luggage, keeping it elevated and accessible, preventing damage to hotel beds or furniture. 

This beautiful luggage stand is in very good original condition, would make a lovely display piece or used in the hallway.
