Heston Aircraft Co London were producers of Polished Aluminium Travel Goods, based in Buckingham Palace Mansions London, Heston created Aluminium Luggage from Lockheed Aircraft. After the war materials were scarce and the Government ‘Utility Scheme’ of 1942 rationed wood, and stated that any available timber was to be used for the reconstruction of houses, these cases were made from surplus Aluminium following the War.
