A Superb Antique Travel Trunk, made from wood, covered in canvas with a leatherette finish, beautiful brass fittings and bentwood banding, with a removable tray to the inside. This travel trunk had been waxed and the brass polished to showcase the original look of this stunning piece of early travel history.

Made by the Famous French makers L. Gisler Paris, the makers label is on the inside of the trunk and on the front above the lock, which comes complete with the original key. (L. Gisler 135, Rue D’Aboukir Pairs). C1910

This trunk is in lovely condition and would make a great coffee table or as a display piece for the home.
