Vintage French Rigidex Déposé Iron Wine Safe

A Superb French Rigidex Depose strapped metal wine safe. Made from Iron, comprising of a pair of tall hinged metal doors with locking hasp, and the original padlock and key. The Safe is marked Rigidex, Déposé along the side and was made in France. The doors open to reveal storage for up to 300 bottles with individual slots, this safe has the supports to the back for wall mounting, giving the safe support when filled. C1920

These French wine safes were originally made for commercial use, such as cafés and restaurants, today they could be used in a home  or wine cellar, restaurants or bars, making a focal point of a room and conversation piece. A fantastic piece of French Cafe life.
