Large Vintage Globe Trotter Cabin Trunk

A Superb Banded Globe Trotter Trunk. A Fibre trunk with bentwood strapping, polished brass locks, fittings and studding, with protective leather corners, the internal lining does show signs of age but all still intact. The “Globe Trotter British Made” makers mark is stamped on the side of the trunk. C1935

The Globe Trotter brand was first established in Germany in 1897 and moved to the UK in 1932 where it has remained ever since. Globe Trotter cases are synonymous with great British craftsmanship combined with an elegant and functional design. They are still made today and come in a variety of colours and styles. 

This Trunk is in lovely condition and remains in original condition inside & out, the brass has been polished to showcase the original look of this timeless piece of luggage.
