Georgian Studded Vellum & Camphor Wood Travel Trunk

A superb quality Georgian camphor wood chest. This large chest is covered in high quality Vellum that is beautifully studded and brass bound. The Vellum and the brass fittings are in excellent order, the inside of the chest has the delightful scented camphor wood aroma and remains in original order. C1810

A fantastic example and in lovely condition with the right amount of patina for its age, this piece would make a great coffee table, or used as blanket storage at the foot of the bed.
